With more history, drama and sheer natural ability to entertain than really seems fair, Glencoe is without doubt one of Europe's scenic highlights. But the famous pass is only the beginning. From the infamous 1692 Massacre of Glencoe to the scene of the Appin Murder which inspired Robert Louis Stevenson to write 'Kidnapped'. From the enchantment of Eilean Munde, the burial isle to the village of Glencoe, Ballachulish and Onich, to the romance of the Lochan trail. It's easy to see why seasoned visitors would keep this wonderful place a secret if they could.

For those of us fortunate enough to live here, we welcome you to share our enthusiasm for what we have.
Loch Leven is 5 minutes walk away from your accommodation. Boat/canoe hire is available in the next village (1 mile), or try an exhilirating 'rib-ride' ! Hire a bike & explore the forest tracks. Walk by the River Coe, 2 minutes away, it has wonderful deep, clear pools (great for swimming) & is bordered by a lovely natural woodland. The stunning (and romantic) Lochan built by Lord Strathcona for his bride, is a short walk away through beautiful scenery.
